Rachael has facilitated workshops in gallery & community settings in cyanotype, textiles, dyeing, printmaking, drawing and painting and is a lecturer at the University of the Highlands & Islands.

Rachael is a qualified lecturer with a Teaching Qualification for Further Education currently teaching in further/ higher education in the Scottish Highlands. 

She has facilitated art education and workshops with young people and adults for many years for portfolio-building, mentoring and personal/professional development.

Partners include the City Art Centre, the Museum of Childhood, the Writers Museum, Artlink, University of Edinburgh and Inverness Creative Academy, Findhorn Bay Arts and the Nairn Book and Arts Festival.

  • Natural dyeing/ resist dyeing

  • Textile techniques

  • Expressive mark-making

  • Embroidery

  • Cyanotype

  • Printing

  • Artist books

 

She is fully PVG registered and declared safe to work with adults and children
